The Installation AC model, which uses an AC power source, such as an onboard generator or inverter to power the system. This configuration can be ordered in either 115V/60Hz or 230V/50Hz. AC Systems are capable of up to 37 GPH.
The Installation 12V DC model requires 30 amps, around 410 watts. DC system are capable of 7-9 GPH.

All consumables are non proprietary, so you will be able to get stock locally, even without a dealer!
TWO COMPONENTS – ONE SYSTEM
The Rainman Watermaker consists of two components. The Pressure Supply Unit and the Reverse Osmosis Membranes. Both make a complete Rainman Watermaker desalination system.
PRESSURE SUPPLY UNIT (PSU)
The Pressure Supply Unit is easily selected based upon your power supply onboard – so in this case – AC or 12V. The PSU lifts the seawater, filters out dirt and sediment then puts the system under high pressure for operation. A set of membranes are connected to the PSU to extract drinking water from the seawater – which is the basic operation of the system.

115V INSTALLATION PSU
115V Installation Pressure Supply Units are designed to operate drawing around 12A/1250 watts in steady state power consumption. A 2KvA generator or high quality inverter is often used with this configuration.
230V INSTALLATION PSU
230V Installation Pressure Supply Units draw approx 6 amps – around 1250 watts steady state power consumption. A 2KvA generator or high quality inverter is often used with this configuration. Your preferred plug can be selected upon order.
DC12V INSTALLATION PSU
12V DC Pressure Supply Units require around 30 amps to operate – around 410 watts. The Rainman system is ideal for folks wanting to avoid the complexities and maintenance of more efficient energy recovery systems.
The installation high output membrane is the flagship model – designed specifically for the Rainman Installation Pressure Supply Units. With the High Output membrane, you can expect to produce between 26 – 37 GPH. This is our most popular and highest output option.
An ideal companion for the electric PSU if you are short on space, and do not require the higher output that the High Output membrane provides. This compact membrane, together with the Rainman Installation Electric PSU is capable of producing between 13 – 18 Gallons Per Hour.
The most economical companion to the Electric PSU. With the Economy Membrane, you can expect production rates between 13 – 18 Gallons Per Hour*. This is also the only membrane compatible with the 12V DC Rainman system (*7-9 GPH at 12V)
