¨Our desire is to always have your back on a boat bought from GoDu, either direct or from our dealer network. The gist of the 100 year warranty is that we cover the hull and the welds for 100 years to the original purchaser only. The other components carry their own warranties.

While most boats 8.5 feet in length are only rated for a 6 or 8 hp outboard, the GoDu 8.5 is rated for a 10 hp motor and planes with two people aboard. Take it further by adding a hydrofoil fin and adjusting your prop pitch, and the performance will keep coming to life. Despite its smaller size, this boat is still stable enough to load on to the toons, just like its bigger sister, the GoDu 10.5

If your mothership only has room for a smaller dinghy, but you desire the performance and comfort of a full size dinghy, this is the boat for you.

This model is called the Expedition (EXP) because it is the most versatile and capable boat we offer. Our lightest model and equipped with our innovative Gear Storage Bulkhead, this boat carries more equipment and supplies than any other boat in our line-up.

Perfect for a myriad of tasks and good times from SCUBA to free-diving, fishing to spearing, the EXP is set-up to aid you in your adventures. The Gear Storage Bulkhead keeps everything in the bow where it belongs and out of the way of your feet and walking space.

Unlike our FlatDeck and MAX models, the EXP does not have a flat floor nor a bow locker. This allows for ample space and extra pounds available for all the stuff your adventure demands. Due to the flat toons, loading in and out of the boat, even without the FlatDeck, is simple and convenient.

The EXP is the GoDu founders favorite model due to its simplicity and equipment capacity. Pile it sky high in the bow and keep your feet clear of clutter while out on the water.

This model is called the FlatDeck because it has a welded in floor. The floor adds comfort and stability to standing and loading the boat at the cost of a few pounds of weight. It also keeps your feet your feet dry whenever there is a bit of water in the boat.

The FlatDeck floor is paired with our innovative Gear Storage Bulkhead for the ultimate in storage capacity when hauling equipment and supplies.

There is space under the FlatDeck floor to run your fuel hose in order to keep it out of the way of your feet and the sunshine, which greatly extends its lifespan.

At the back of the floor there is a nice large access for cleaning out the bilge of debris and using the transom plug. The raw aluminum is specially selected to stand the test of time. This model is called the MAX because its the maximum in convenience. Equipped with a full length welded FlatDeck Floor and paired with an easily lockable full Bow Locker, this boat offers you comfort and security throughout.

The bow locker is big enough to hold a 6 US Gallon bow tank, the Compact Anchor Kit, Collapsing Paddle and four life vests. Easily secured by a simple and reliable pad lock looped through standard GoDu deck rings, the locker is designed to keep your property safe and dry from rain and spray.

The bow locker is covered by SeaDek so it offers a comfortable place to sit and an easy to use, non-skid step for loading and unloading.

Designed to allow you to run your fuel hose under the floor to the transom, this will keep your hose out from under your feet and out of the sunshine, greatly extending its useful life.
