Description
SafeSea EPIRB3 Pro - Category 1
The Ocean Signal EPIRB3 Pro is a full-featured 406 MHz global rescue beacon with an auto-release float-free bracket and packs a host of features into a compact modern design including AIS technology.
AIS provides local rescuers with precise and reliable information on the current beacon position, thereby speeding rescue operations. Additionally, Return Link Service (RLS) comforts those who activate the beacon by confirming that their distress message has been received. The inclusion of Near Field Communication (NFC) capability allows the use of a smartphone app to monitor the EPIRB’s battery and other functions ensuring it is working correctly.
The EPIRB3 Pro comes complete with a Category 1 auto-release float-free mounting bracket. This bracket securely stores the EPIRB3 Pro for the duration of your trip regardless of the conditions experienced throughout. It also provides the best chance of deployment in distress situations where it is difficult for a crew member to reach the EPIRB.

What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
Lots of wiring - no leaks! Be sure to run ALL the wires through BEFORE completing the run!

"Currently" super happy.
Installed on Yanmar 4JH57 engines with Zeus Controllers - HOLY WOW power. Losing some power at top end but overall very satisfied. Will do a long term review later. Talk about power - hope to never need my generator again!
