The Uniden Bearcat SR30C handheld radio scanner is versatile, compact, and very easy to use. You can program up to 500 frequencies into the scanner’s memory. You also get Close Call RF capture technology designed to help detect and identify strong local radio signals in your area.

This scanner is pre-programmed with service bands for your convenience. It covers the bands used for emergency reporting, including NOAA weather alerts, Aviation, Marine, Railroad, NASCAR, and non-digital ambulance, police, and fire emergencies. You also get direct access to over 32,000 frequencies.

Features:

• Close Call RF Technology with DND - Sets the scanner so it detects and provides information about nearby radio transmissions. Close Call Do-Not-Disturb checks for Close Call activity during channel reception, so active channels are not interrupted.
• Channel Storage Banks - The scanner has 10 banks. You can store up to 50 frequencies in each bank (for a total of 500 frequencies), so you can call more easily.
• Memory Backup - Keeps the frequencies stored in memory for an extended time if the scanner loses power.
• Quick Search - Allows you to start searching at the displayed frequency or enter a frequency and start searching.
• PC Programming - Use the Sentinel software to manage your scanner's Profiles, Favorites Lists, Databases, and firmware updates.
• Non-Digital Scanner - The SR30C is not a digital scanner and is not capable of Digital Radio system monitoring.
